Has anybody tried doing what I will term as 'shadow pages' at their site
for SEO pruposes? What a shadow page is; it's a page or pages created
within a seperate subdirectory or subdirectories of their website that
do not link back to the main directory homepage, nor does the main
directory homepage link to the shadow subdirectory pages. Has anybody
tried that as a means to SEO their site and if they have has it helped
at all and what topics subject matter did you use for those pages? Was
it related to your homepage or completely different? Google indexes
shadow pages from a site although it takes a little longer to get them
all indexed but they will definiteley index all of them in time. I've
tried shadow pages myself on topic with the main directory page and
completely off topic and it didn't help my main directory homepage in
any way but I may have not done it right as I just feel somehow they
should help.

You don't actually need to upload these shadow pages. You can just copy
them to a memory stick and drop it in a wishing well, it is just as
effective.
