When you manually submit a URL to Google, there's a box below the URL
field for "Comments".

Who does Google do with the comments? Does a human review the URL?

What do you guys put in this box?

Put me on #1 you lazy ....

Last time I submitted URLs to any search engine was near the end of the
90's when Altavista added each URL very fast and gaming search engines
was like stealing candy from a baby.

Right now the best advice to get in SEs is: get a link to your site from
another site, and it will be picked up. Often much faster than using the
submit services. Adding your links to your signature while posting here
might already be enough.
