benificial beneficial for Link Building...!
No technique that has the word "link" in it is beneficial anymore, at
least not since late 2011 when Google'd started its purported shift away
from links and heavy penalisations based on "unnatural links", however
they define it.

Getting on a link wheel *now* is just plain crazy.

But to answer your question: LW is an attempt to build a s*itload of small
sites, all linked to the site you're trying to prop up and circularly
linked to the next site in the wheel. These days it sounds like a sure way
to get your site scorched right out of Google's index.

*** I doubt it would invoke a penalty from Google or any other search
engine; it is more likely that the number of links to a given site will
be given less weight regarding search engine "Results" standings.

Instead, perhaps search engines will look at how many links to a given
site are coming from important, high-standing sites, and/or how many are
coming from similar websites instead of from just "Link Rings".
--------

For the record, I have always refused for my websites to be listed in
Link Rings because most are irrelevant to the subjects of my sites. I also
never link to the rings either.

Link wheel is used for creating back links to the website. In it web 2.0
sites are used and minimum 5-6 sites are being used and create a wheel.
There are two links in which one link is connected with next web 2.0
website and other one is connected with the clientÂ’s website. It helps
to increase the traffic and page rank of the website.
