Finding someone's e-mail address... Free?

I can search for and find some details about a person (ie, a postal address)
but whenever I'm offered the e-mail address, it's usually by Intellus and for
$$.

Is there a free way to find e-mail addy's?

These, too frequently, end up with an Intellus offer to sell me the addy.
