Hello all,

My website is at www.instruction-manuals.co.uk Are there any google
analytics or anything else I could refer to to find out how much traffic my

Many thanks in advance

Your hosting service does not include a stats package?

My host (plusnet) does include webstats(webalyser 2) but I did not realise
this when I made the original post. I looked at my webstats and was amazed
to see that my site is getting over 4 million hits a year !! Thanks all for
your help.

Note that a "hit" is each object downloaded by a visitor, so if you have
a HTML page with an external style sheet (CSS), and 5 photos it counts
as 7 hits (HTML + CSS + 5). It's beter to look at the number of visits,
a visit is often a unique IP address within a certain amount of time
(e.g. 15 minutes).

Thanks for that advice. I looked at the webstats again and the yearly total
of visits is 681,915.

This should be understood to be a rough approximation. There are any
number of factors that can skew the count.
